After an action-packed weekend of gaelic football, here are the players that make our team of the week...

1. Stephen Cluxton (Dublin)

The records continue to fall for the Dublin captain who overtook his former team-mate Alan Brogan to pick up provincial medal number 12.

2. Chrissy McKaigue (Derry)

The Oak Leaf County added Cavan's scalp to Louth's and Meath's in the qualifiers and will fancy their chances against Tipperary in round 4.

3. Declan Kyne (Galway)

Kyne's performances on the edge of the square have been a key component in Galway's march to Connacht SFC glory.

4. Davy Byrne (Dublin)

Byrne and his defensive team-mates coughed up just the five points from play in the Leinster SFC decider.

5. Tiernan McCann (Tyrone)

Relished the physical exchanges and used his pace to telling effect late on to help the Red Hands scrape over the line against Donegal.

6. Justin McMahon (Tyrone)

Provided solid protection to his full-back line and was a calming influence in the heart of the Tyrone defence.

7. Colm Boyle (Mayo)

Mayo are beginning to show signs that they are beginning to gel under Stephen Rochford and, despite his black card, Boyle was one of their top performers against the Lilywhites.

8. Alan O'Connor (Cork)

It was very much a case of mission accomplished for the Rebel County against Longford and O'Connor continued where he left off against Limerick.

9. Gary Brennan (Clare)

After their seven point win over Sligo, Clare manager Colm Collins singled out Brennan and his midfield partner, Cathal O'Connor, for special praise.

10. Danny Cummins (Galway)

No team of the week would be complete without the Galway dynamo so we accommodated him in the half-forward line after his 2-1 heroics against the Rossies.

11. Sean Cavanagh (Tyrone)

Cometh the hour, cometh the man - put a below-par first-half performance behind him to inspire his team to victory with a powerful second-half display.

12. Diarmuid O'Connor (Mayo)

Last year's 'Young Footballer of the Year' was the stand-out performer, accumulating 1-5, as Mayo advanced to a round 4 clash with Westmeath.

13. Mark Lynch (Derry)

The experienced Lynch's finger prints were all over the Oak Leafers second-half comeback against Cavan and he raised seven white flags in their two-point victory.

14. Damien Comer (Galway)

The Roscommon defence failed to come up with an answer to Comer's physicality and he kicked three points before picking up a black card in the 57th minute.

15. Bernard Brogan (Dublin)

The former 'Footballer of the Year' appears to be hitting top form at the right time and finished with 1-4 to his name against the Lake County.
