Rhode Senior Footballers

 

Rhode remain unbeaten in this years Division 1 league with wins over Clara and Ferbane Tuesday and Saturday last. Rhodes First game on Tuesday against clara was an excellent display despite the weather conditions Rhode 3-12 Clara 2-13 . Rhode then took on ferbane on Saturday in Rhode winning on a scoreline of 2-13 to ferbanes 0-10. 

 

 

Division 4 league 

 

Rhode Junior footballers were beaten by Daingean in Rhode Friday night last by 1 point. Rhode 0-10 Daingean 0-11. It was a very close game and was a draw in the dying minutes of the game with the referee giving a free for daingean to kick the winning score. 

 

 

 

Jackpot Presentation 

 

The Winner Denis Brady was presented with his Jackpot winnings on Friday evening last. He was joined by his daughter and Partner. To present the cheque on behalf of the club was ticket seller James Murphy, Treasurer Patricia McManus, Vice Chairman Cathal Swords and P.R.O Robert Kellaghan. 

 

 

Offaly Hurlers 

 

Hardluck to Offaly Hurlers who were beaten by Galway in the Leinster Hurling Semi-final on a score-line of  2-19 to 2-09. Offal

Rhode are well represented with a eight  of our players on the Offaly will now play wexford away  in the qualifiers. 

 

 

Offaly Senior Footballers 

 

Very best of Luck to Offaly footballlers as they take on London in the Qualifiers on Saturday the 25th june at 2pm in O'Connor Park Tullamore.

Offaly GAA Cul Camps 

 

 

The annual Rhode GAA Cul Camp will commence in Fr Dowling Park on Monday 18th July to Friday 22th July.  The camp will start each day at 10am and ends at 2.30pm. It is a wonderful experience for the 6 to 12 year old boys and girle s to play games meet new friends and to practice the skills of our native games. Lotto 

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 14th of June for a Jackpot of €15,000.  The numbers drawn were 4 5 24 27.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Killeen's for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €200

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website.  The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on.  In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!
