Cavan dominate our football team of the week while Mayo, Tipperary, Clare and Armagh are also represented...

1. Raymond Galligan (Cavan)

His kick-out strategy reaped the desired rewards and his penalty save from Stefan Campbell's attempt was a defining moment in the game.

2. Colm O'Shaughnessy (Tipperary)

As expected, O'Shaughnessy and his Premier team-mates safely negotiated the Waterford challenge but they will need to improve ahead of their semi-final date with Cork.

3. Fergal Flanagan (Cavan)

Flanagan and his Breffni County team-mates march on to a last four showdown with Tyrone having kept the Armagh attack well under wraps.

4. Keith Higgins (Mayo)

Holders Mayo disposed of London with the minimum of fuss and it's arch rivals Galway up next.

5. Bill Maher (Tipperary)

The 2012 All-Ireland minor hurling winning captain didn't put a foot out of place on his senior championship debut.

6. Conor Moynagh (Cavan)

Moynagh & Co coughed up just the six points from play against the Orchard County.

7. Sean Collins (Clare)

The half-back's frequent forays into enemy territory caused plenty of headaches for Limerick while he finished with a point to his name.

8. George Hannigan (Tipperary)

Sent over three points from play during the first-half of Tipperary's 1-15 to 1-7 victory over Waterford in Fraher Field.

9. Gearoid McKiernan (Cavan)

The physically imposing Cavan midfielder laid the foundations for his side's eight point success when raising three white flags during the opening period.

10. Dara McVeety (Cavan)

The hard-working McVeety was full of industry as per usual and chipped in with 1-1 for good measure.

11. Keelan Sexton (Clare)

The Banner centre-forward was one of the few players to perform up to scratch as Colm Collins' charges scraped over Limerick.

12. Martin Reilly (Cavan)

The energetic half-forward got his hands on more than his fair share of Cavan kick-outs and took his penalty with aplomb.

13. Evan Regan (Mayo)

Enjoyed a championship debut to remember with sending over seven points (five frees) against the Exiles.

14. Stefan Campbell (Armagh)

At times it looked as though he was fighting a lone battle up front but won't care to be reminded about his second-half penalty miss.

15. Seanie Johnston (Cavan)

Marked his return to championship action for his native county after five years with a personal haul of 0-7.
