LOTTO

The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday 16 May 2016 were 10 14 27 30. There was No Jackpot Winner of €4,600 and No Match 3 Winners; Match 3 Prize Doubled to €400 on Monday 23 May. Next week's draw will take place in Direen's, Cloneygowan on Monday 30 May 2016.

FOOTBALL LEAGUE NORTH TIER 2

Raheen Junior Footballers were beaten by Clonmore Harps in their final group game of the Football League North Tier 2 last Tuesday week in Geashill on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-08. Raheen were ahead for most of the game but a bad last 10 mins proved to be their undoing. Raheen opened up an early 1-03 to 0-01 lead after 10 mins with the goal from Mikey Keogh's solo run and left footed shot landed in the top right corner of the net. Clonmore responded with their 1st goal on 16 min followed by 2 points to draw level before Raheen re-took the lead with the final point of the half to lead at the break 1-03 to 1-01. Then after 20 mins of the second half both sides had added 3 points each but Clonmore finished the stronger scoring 1-04 to 0-01 to claim the win.

U14 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Following their success in winning the Feile League Na Fianna U14 Footballers will be looking to keep their 100% win record in 2016 going as they get their Championship campaign underway this Friday (27 May) @ 7:30pm against Edenderry in Edenderry. Best of Luck to Players & Management. All Support would be appreciated.

FEILE FUNDRAISING TABLE QUIZ

There was a very good turnout for the Feile Table Quiz which took place last Saturday night in the High Chaparall, Geashill which was organised by Na Fianna Football Club to raise funds towards the costs associated with sending our U14 Footballers who have qualified as Offaly Representatives to compete in the All Ireland Feile Peil na nÓg in Cork on the last weekend of June. Congratulations to Tom Keogh's tean who won the quiz. The clubs would like to Thank everybody who came along and took part whose generosity is very much appreciated making the event a great success. Na Fianna GAA Football Club would also like to thank everybody who donated and sponsored spot prizes:

 

FUN RUN

A 10K Fun Run will be held in Ballinagar Village on Friday 17th June 2016 @ 7pm. Competitors may Run or Walk the route. Entry Fee is €10 with the proceeds going towards Na Fianna Football Club. Registration will take place from 5:30pm in Ballinagar. The event is AAI Approved with Prizes for the Top Ladies & Gents. Refreshments will be served afterwards. All Support would be much appreciated.

Na Fianna U6's & U8's Football Training continues on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in Geashill. All players and intending players are asked to attend training.
