Strictly Come Dancing

There is less than than a week to our "Strictly Come Dancing"  Field development Fundraiser to include installation of fence, ball stops, stand and walking path.  It will take place on the May bank holiday weekend Sunday 1st in the Tullamore Court Hotel. 

The Dance Practice is getting better and better with the competition building up. Who will be crowned Champions and who be wondering how did I forget my moves ?? Only way to find out is to buy a Ticket and Enjoy a Wonderful Night.

Rhode Seniors gained their second brace of points when they bet Gracefield in Rhode Saturday evening last.  Rhode with Offaly contingent back led at half time 1-09 to 1-02 . Rhode were well up at stages with Gracefield fighting back but Rhode always kept a good margin between them. Full Time Score Rhode 3-15 Gracefield 2-11.

Rochfortbridge U,14 Schools North Leinster B Champions

 

Massive Congratulations To young Rhode footballer Aaron Kellaghan on winning a U,14 B hurling title when he togged out with his Secondary school team last Thursday in the final scoring 4 points.  

 

 

 

Rhode Minors

 

Following a walk over by Gracefield in the league the other week Rhode played Rochfortbridge in a challenge game which they won by 3-19 to 0-06 points. 

 Rhode Currently  sit on top on the Minor league grouping and this challenge win will help them continue with their plans.

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 18th of April for a Jackpot of €15,000.  The numbers drawn were 2 5 6 20.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O'Toole's for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €70 each

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website.  The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on.  In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!
