Offaly awards for King and Doyle

Coolderry's David King and Sean Doyle of Edenderry are the Offaly senior hurler and footballer of the year respectively for 2015.

Both played starring roles for their clubs in their county championship successes this year. They, along with the recipients in the other grades, will be honoured at the annual Offaly GAA Awards Night in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore on January 16.

Also on the night, All-Ireland winning full back Eugene Coughlan will be inducted into the Offaly Hurling Hall of Fame, while Doon's Johnny Egan will enter the Offaly Football Hall of Fame.

Hall Of Fame: Eugene Coughlan (Seir Kieran)

Senior: David King (Coolderry)

Intermediate: Graham Lynch (Lusmagh)

Junior: Joey Deehan (Clara)

U21: Cillian Kiely (Kilcormac/Killoughey)

Minor: Liam Langton (Clodiagh Gaels & Na Fianna)

Referee: Declan Cooke (Crinkill)

Camogie: Marian Crean (Shinrone)
