Tipperary native and former Kerry manager Eamonn Kelly is the choice of Offaly county committee as their new hurling manager.
Kelly worked wonders with the Kingdom hurlers in his two years in charge, winning Division 2A of the Allianz HL in both seasons and claiming the Christy Ring Cup earlier this year. Additionally, Kerry will take their place in Division 1B of the HL in 2016 having beaten Antrim in a playoff in the Spring.
Kelly, once ratified by club delegates, will replace Brian Whelehan in the role.
