LOTTO
The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday 17 August 2015 were 03 24 26 29. There was No Jackpot Winner of €12,000 and 1 Match 3 Winner [Eamon Direen C/O Direen's] [€200 Each] . Next week's draw will take place in Hamilton's, Geashill on Monday 31 August 2015.
SENIOR B FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RD 5
Raheen Senior Footballers lost out to Tubber in the Penultimate Round of the Senior B Championship last Saturday evening in O'Connor Pk, Tullamore on a scoreline of 1-18 to 0-12 and now face a winner takes all battle with Shamrocks in the final round to claim 4th spot in the group. Raheen did open the scoring with the first point on 2 mins but Tubber got off the mark with 3 points in a row followed by their goal on 13 mins when a Raheen kickout was won out on the sideline by a Tubber man who passed it to Ciaran McManus in centrefield and he worked his way to the edge of the square before hitting his trademark shot to the top corner of the net. This set Tubber on their way as they added 6 more points in the remainder of the half with just a 2 point reply from Raheen and so at the break Tubber led well 1-09 to 0-03. The second half has much more balanced affair with both sides adding 9 points each as Raheen could only manage to cut 2 points into the deficit on a couple of occasions before Tubber would claw it back each time.

JUNIOR B HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINAL
Raheen Hurlers will be looking to reach the Junior B Championship Semi Finals when they take on Ballyskenach / Killavilla in the Quarter Final this Sunday (30 Aug) @ 12 Noon in Rath. All Support would be appreciated.
RAHEEN GAA NURSERY
Raheen GAA club are providing a nursery for 4 to 6 year old boys and girls every Saturday morning from 10am to 11am in the GAA Field in Geashill. All are welcome

MINOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Na Fianna Minor Footballers were forced to concede a walkover in their final round of the Championship against Ferbane / Belmont last Wednesday evening. Na Fianna will now move on to the Minor B Championship Quarter Finals.
