Today's Offaly JFC 'C' final between Lusmagh and Cappincur in Tullamore produced just one point in the first half.
Lusmagh's 0-1 to 0-0 lead at the interval could have been mistaken for a soccer scoreline.
Thankfully, the standard improved after the restart when the club which gave hurling Joachim Kelly and Jim and John Troy went on to register a 1-6 to 0-5 victory, giving them their fifth ever success in the grade.
