Kilkenny have three players on our hurling team of the week following their Leinster SHC winning exploits yesterday ...

1. Anthony Nash (Cork)

The Cork captain was only really tested once in Wexford Park and he passed with flying colours when denying Ian Byrne in the first-half.

2. David McInerney (Clare)

Offaly struggled to find a way past McInerney and his Banner County defensive team-mats in Ennis.

3. Brian Murphy (Cork)

The Rebel full-back came out on top in his personal duel with Wexford's Conor McDonald.

4. Shane Power (Westmeath)

The tenacious Lake County defender held Cian Lynch scoreless but injury brought his participation to a premature end late on.

5. Brendan Bugler (Clare)

Back after suspension, Bugler didn't put a foot wrong against the Faithful County but Cork will represent a significant step up in opposition this weekend.

6. Liam Rushe (Dublin)

Restored to the more familiar surroundings of the half-back line, Rushe put in a commanding display against the O'Moore County.

7. Cillian Buckley (Kilkenny)

The Dicksboro clubman stood up to the Galway challenge with a top class performance in the winners' half-back line.

8. Richie Hogan (Kilkenny)

It was business as usual for the Hurler of the Year who raised four white flags at GAA headquarters.

9. Tony Kelly (Clare)

The gifted Kelly showed off his full range of skills when sending over eights points (six from play) against Offaly.

10. Ian Byrne (Wexford)

The Model County forward registered 12 points (10 from frees) but that was of little consolation as Liam Dunne's men crashed out of the championship.

11. Cyril Donnellan (Galway)

The Tribesmen's centre-forward's work-rate was rewarded with three points from play.

12. Shane Dowling (Limerick)

The result aside, Dowling's display was one of the few positives for Limerick to take away from Mullingar.

13. Conor Lehane (Cork)

Wexford defenders will have nightmares about Lehane who pick-pocketed them for 1-6.

14. TJ Reid (Kilkenny)

The Ballyhale Shamrocks ace was unmarkable as he plundered Galway for 1-9 (1-3 from play).

15. Mark Schutte (Dublin)

The Cuala forward helped himself to 2-1 as Dublin returned to winning ways at Laois' expense.
