The intermediate team had a morale boosting win over Walsh Island on Friday evening in Daingean. After an even first half the home side led 0-09 to 0-05 at half time. A goal early in the second half had the visitors ahead but Daingean battled back and a late Jamie Hayes free saw them win by just one in the end.
