There have been calls for Offaly GAA to bump up their security at O'Connor Park after large stones were thrown across a wall and into a garden of a nearby house last Saturday week.
The Tullamore Tribune reported this week that the stones narrowly missed a jeep that was passing by, but landed in a garden where children were playing. The owner of the home said the children were lucky to escape injury.
The incident happened during the Leinster championship double-header involving the Galway and Dublin hurlers and the Kildare and Laois footballers.
