Following Offaly minor footballers exit from the Leinster championship, the county's minor hurlers will be hoping to prolong their interest in this year's campaign.

The Faithful County take on Laois at O'Moore Park on Saturday afternoon having defeated Carlow in the first round, before losing out to Dublin.

Laois lost to Wexford, before hammering Meath to get back to this stage of the campaign and they will go into the game as slight favourites.

When the sides met last year, it was the O'Moore County that came out on top, but Offaly can be buoyed by their performance against Dublin and will go into the game with no fear.
