Killeigh club notes

December 15, 2014

AGM
The annual general meeting was held last week in the clubhouse. With a small crowd in attendance, the incumbent chairman Mark Shiel, secretary James Condron and treasurer Ger Cleary were returned. With the club finances in a relatively strong position and the underage Na Fianna parish teams going from strength to strength, the general mood of the meeting was one of everyone rowing in behind the club and promoting an air of positivity for the year ahead. Thanks to all who attended, while the numbers weren't huge, and the best of luck to the committee and all those with the best interests of Killeigh GAA Club at heart for the coming season.

U-14 Football Presentation.
The victorious U-14 football team drawn from the Killeigh and Killurin clubs who won their section of the County Board summer football competition will be presented with their medals in Killeigh NS on Sunday evening at 5 pm. Please come along and show your appreciation for this extremely talented next generation of footballers.

Congratulations
Well done to parish neighbours on the fantastic achievement of winning Offaly Club of the year. With 2 league titles and the intermediate football championship secured in 2014, this is a very well deserved award; sincerest congratulations from Killeigh GAA Club.
