Keith Begley is set to be ratified as the new Offaly minor football manager.
Clare native Keith Begley is set to be ratified as the new Offaly minor football manager.
Begley who takes over from Pascal Keeleghan has worked with Offaly underage teams in recent years and managed the county's under-16 side to win the Fr Manning Cup two years ago.
The selection committee of Pauric Pierce, Padraig O'Meara, Brian Flynn, Matt Connor and Mary Dunne have put Begley forward as their preferred choice.
The Midland Tribune report that Padraig Murray, Padraig Corcoran and Michael Doolan will be part of the backroom team.
