The Leinster club SHC semi-final between Raharney and Kilcormac/Killoughey, and the Kilkenny SHC final between Clara and Ballyhale Shamrocks are the two big hurling fixtures down for decision today.

Raharney will attempt to become the first Westmeath club to reach a Leinster senior hurling final when they take on 2013 All-Ireland finalists Kilcormac/Killoughey at Cusack Park. The game will pit double Ks full back and St. Joseph's, Rochfortbridge woodwork teacher Ger Healion against two of his students, twins Killian and Ciaran Doyle.

Up to 10,000 spectators are expected to flock to Nowlan Park, meanwhile, for the Kilkenny decider between holders Clara and Ballyhale, who are appearing in their eighth final in 10 years.

Clara, who defeated Carrickshock in last year's final, will have their work cut out to beat a Ballyhale team that can call on county stars Henry Shefflin, Michael and Colin Fennelly, Joey Holden and TJ Reid.
