Ciaran Slevin has identified Shelmaliers sharpshooter Joe Kelly as the single biggest threat to Kilcormac/Killoughey's hopes of progressing to the last four of the Leinster club SHC.

Kelly blasted 2-7 last Sunday as Shels defeated St. Anne's after a replay to win their maiden Wexford SHC title, and they are now preparing to take on the three-in-a-row Offaly champions at Wexford Park on Sunday.

"We know what's coming, Joe Kelly hurled well the last day," the double Ks free-taker said in the Irish Daily Star.

"We know they have a couple of county players and their dangers. They're a big physical team, similar to ourselves, even how they work hard and drop deep. We're looking forward to another crack at Leinster.

"The time of the year and weather, there'll be a bit of slogging going on and whoever works hardest will win, I'd imagine."

Slevin scoffs at the notion of the 2013 All-Ireland finalists being among the favourites to lift the Tommy Moore Cup next March.

"If we get up to the All-Ireland, all well and good, but first of all we have to put in a performance at Wexford Park," he added.
