Pat Flanagan is expected to be named Offaly's new senior football manager in the coming days, according to reports.

It was confirmed that Flanagan parted company with Sligo over the weekend after a year in charge of the Yeats County and could be confirmed to his new role as early as tonight.

The Clara clubman is thought to have been keen on managing his native county for some time now.
