This weekend sees two intriguing senior football championship semi finals take place.

Rhode and Clara go head to head again and an earlier meeting in the championship between the sides saw Rhode run out convincing winners on a scoreline of 4-20 to 0-10.

However, this clash should be a lot closer, although Rhode will still be favourites to come through and advance to yet another final.

In the second semi final, Gracefield and Edenderry met in what should be a close contest as well. Edenderry should have enough firepower to seem them through though.
