Six teams remain in the hunt for the Dowling Cup following last weekend's final round of group matches.

As respective winners of Group 1 and 2, Edenderry and Rhode qualify directly for the semi-finals. The quarter-final pairings are Tullamore v Ferbane and Clara v Gracefield.

Ballycumber will be bitterly disappointed not to have forced a playoff in Group 2 for the final quarter-final spot. Had they beaten Ferbane, a three-way playoff involving themselves, Ferbane and St. Rynagh's would have been necessitated. As it transpired, county man Joe Maher scored two late points to earn Ferbane a 0-7 apiece draw and a place in the quarter-finals.

For Ballycumber, the draw means they are relegated to the newly-created senior 'B' championship along with Tubber, Walsh Island and Kilcormac/Killoughey for 2015.
