Camogs face Cork in All-Ireland quarter-final

August 08, 2014
The Offaly senior camogie team will be hoping to pull off a shock when they meet Cork in the All-Ireland quarter-final at the Gaelic Grounds tomorrow (throw-in 2pm).

The Faithful have never beaten the Rebels in senior camogie and the odds are firmly stacked against them bucking that trend this weekend. Cork have already defeated All-Ireland champions Galway in this year's championship are among the favourites to lift the O'Duffy Cup.

Manager Aidan Franks will be able to pick from a fully fit squad for the last-six clash, which is part of a double-header with the Clare v Galway All-Ireland quarter-final. But it goes without saying that Offaly will have to produce an exceptional display if they are to make amends for their narrow defeat to Wexford at the same stage last year.
