Ferbane GAA notes

May 23, 2013
Senior Football League
The senior footballers secured two very good results this week against Rhode parish clubs, picking up a point in a 0-15 to 1-12 draw with Rhode on Sunday afternoon, while going one better and beating St Brigids 2-13 to 1-11 on Tuesday night in Croghan.

Both games saw great character from the Ferbane team - on Sunday they came back from seven points down to lead by three, only to be reeled in at the death by a late surge from the county champions. Both sides were heavily depleted however the quality of football on display was hugely encouraging and this confidence clearly stood Ferbane in good stead on Tuesday evening in Croghan.
