Drumcullen GAA Club notes

Junior Hurling Championship
Drumcullen made a winning start to the Junior Hurling Championship with a fine 3-15 to 1-16 win over St Rynagh's last week. There were some fine performances, especially from the younger players which bodes well for the year ahead. Drumcullen play their second game this Sunday at 12pm in Rath against Ballinamere. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Minor Hurling League
Drumcullen players line out with Seir Kieran in the Minor Hurling League and they had a fine victory last week by 7-14 to 0-5 over CRC Gaels. They will play in the Division 2 Final against Clara at 7.30pm in Clara tonight (Wednesday)

U-12 Hurling League
Drumcullen face Kilcormac/Killoughey in Rath this Saturday morning at 11am in their second game in the league.

Well done
Well done to Padraig Guinan who lined out in the half-forward line and got on the scoresheet for the Offaly minors against Laois on Saturday in the Leinster Championship. While it was a disappointing game for Offaly, it was great to see a young player from the club representing the county at minor level.

Lotto
Numbers drawn were 6, 16, 18 and 28. There was no winner of the jackpot of €13,600. One match 3 winner was Eoin Mannion who receives €150. Promoter's prize went to Sean Yeates.
