Pitch inspections are being carried out at most GAA venues across the country this morning to determine if games in the Allianz Football League, Lidl National Ladies Football League and Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League can take place.
There are over 30 senior inter-county matches in the three codes scheduled for this afternoon, but the arrival of Storm Ciara has put many of them in jeopardy.
Among the grounds where pitch inspections are being carried out are Pairc Tailteann in Navan, TEG Cusack Park in Mullingar, Celtic Park in Derry and Netwatch Cullen Park in Carlow.
The Lidl Ladies Football League game between Laois and Longford and the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League Division 2 clash between Dublin and Tipperary have already fallen foul of the weather.
