Ballycumber GAA Club notes

December 10, 2019

Ballycumber Christmas Lights.

The spectacular new Christmas lights were switched on Saturday evening by members of the Naomh Ciaran Ladies Football All Ireland Champions. The evening’s festivities commenced with beautiful singing by St Manchans Choir and was followed by a blessing by Fr Brendan O’Sullivan. Santa even took time from his busy schedule to meet the boys and girls in the Barracks.  Unfortunately the rain came at the wrong time but, didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the large crowd. All agreed that the efforts of the organising committee have been rewarded with the illumination of the Village.
