Seir Kieran manager Dan Hackett is in no doubt that the uncertainty of the Leinster club IHC has been a great learning curve for his players.

Nowlan Park, Kilkenny is the venue for the provincial decider against Tullaroan who will look at this as a home match.

This is the Offaly champions third game on the road in the competition and Hackett stressed that they are enjoying the whole routine.

“You are going into the unknown really,” Hackett told the Midland Tribune. “You can do all the due-diligence you want but you don’t have that knowledge of teams that you would have when you are playing locally.

“It is a great learning curve but in saying that some of our toughest games have been in Offaly against the likes of Drumcullen, Tullamore and Clodiagh Gaels.”
