September 16, 2019Offaly Senior Football Semi Final:
Rhode Senior footballers will take on Clara in the Offaly Championship Semi final on the 28th/29th September.
Rhode U'11 Football tournament
Rhode U'11s will host a football tournament this coming weekend Sunday September 22nd in Fr,Dowling Park. Games kick off at 12:00 Midday.
Teams taking part in the tournament are Edenderry, Round Towers Dublin . Clane Kildare , Moycullen Galway, St.Mary's Rochfortbridge, O'Dempseys Laois, Crosserlough Cavan. and of course Rhode.
A big day is promised and all support would be greatly appreciated
U15 Football Championship
Rhode U'15 footballers were defeated in their final group game by Clara on a score-line of 6-14 to 4-09.
Team: Jake Molloy, Liam Walsh, Owen Smith, Ryan Kellaghan, Noah Swaine, Cameron Egan, Matt Heavey, Evan Farrelly, Dylan Kilmurray, Charlie Cullen, Cian Conroy, Ger Cullen, Ben Kennedy, Shane Duffy, Tiernan Foy, Cian Cocoman, Barry Dunne.
Relegation Final :
We hosted the Intermediate relegation final last Friday evening a massive thank you to all our stewards who helped out on the night . Thanks also to our groundsmen for having the pitch and grounds in good condition.

A massive well done to Pat Smullen and all the organisers of the Pat Smullen Champions race for Cancer Trials Ireland whose events that took place over the weekend will raise and estimated €2 Million for the cancer charity. We are all behind you Pat.
Lotto
There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 9th of September for a Jackpot of €5,600. The numbers drawn were 14 24 25 26. The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O’Toole’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation. There were no match three numbers the following received received €50 each by lucky dip.
