Minor footballers head into unknown
April 19, 2019Offaly minor footballers begin their Leinster MFC campaign next week as the under-17 era begins in earnest.
The Faithful County travel to Bellefield to take on Wexford on Tuesday next, April 23rd knowing a win would set them up nicely for the rest of the round robin campaign.
They face Meath and Dublin in their other two games so the impetus is on gaining a win against the Slayneysiders in Enniscorthy next week.
The management team of George Digan and his selectors Ken Daly, Pat Costello, Tom Naughton and Keith McGuinness have worked hard with the squad in the last few months.
Results may not have gone their way, but there is still a genuine belief in the squad that they can record a win in Wexford.
