Awards and Gala Dinner

A massive thank you to everyone that came to our dinner dance in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore. We were excellently treated and the food was top notch. Thank you to our MC Brian Gavin and our special guest the great Matt Connor. Congratulations to all the lads who picked up their county medals and for some of them it was their first time receiving a county medal. Congratulations to Gavin Sheil who picked up the Footballer of the Year award, Peter Walsh who picked up the Hurler of the Year award and Mark Sheil who was named Club Person of the Year. A special mention must go to Kevin Kinahan who got everyone on their feet for his rendition of “Grace”.

Division 2 Hurling League

Clodiagh Gaels vs Shamrocks is on Saturday 16th of March at 4pm in Rahan.

Division 4 Hurling League

Clodiagh Gaels vs Kilcormac/Killoughey is on Monday 18th of March at 4pm in Kilcormac.

King of the Gaels

Thanks to those of you who have supported King of the Gaels to date and are helping our contestants. We are in the process of collecting all cards and money and our King will be crowned in Grennan’s on the Green on Sunday the 24th of March at 7pm.  Note the change of date from the 15th of March due to circumstances out of our control.

Membership

Membership is due by Friday 22nd of March and the following is to be paid to:

Hard Luck

Hard luck to Niall Stack, our own representatives and their Colaiste Choilm teammates as they lost the Rest of Leinster football final on Friday to Ashbourne Community School.
