Kevin Connolly says Coolderry are determined to keep their winning run going for as long as possible after skippering them to their 31st Offaly SHC title last Sunday.

Connolly was already turning his thoughts to the Leinster club SHC and a meeting with the Carlow champions on November 4 after the south Offaly club dethroned holders Kilcormac/Killoughey in the Sean Robbins Cup decider.

"We went unbeaten this year and we plan to keep that going. There is a tight bunch of players there and we are going to represent Offaly as the best team we can be," he told the Midland Tribune.

The corner forward and goalscorer was full of praise for the Coolderry management and players.

"Credit goes to Joachim Kelly and Martin Bennett for the work that have put in, but I suppose credit to the players too. The management can tell us what to do, but the players have into it too," he added.
