JP McManus has made an incredible gesture to the GAA by donating  €100,000 to every county board in Ireland.

RTE reports that the famous race horse owner and long-time Limerick GAA sponsor will give out a total of €3.2million to all 32 counties with the figure being divided equally among their local clubs.

A letter to each county board states that the donation is intended to support the continued development of gaelic games in the country.
