Here are the 35 questions Offaly managerial hopefuls were expected to answer

This is crazy.

Former players Paschal Kellaghan and Mark Plunkett were asked to fill out a 35-step application form as part of the recent process to appoint a new Offaly football manager. As it transpired, the two locals didn't even get an interview with the selection committee of county board chairman Tommy Byrne, vice-chairman Pauric Pierce, former player Vinny Claffey and former selector Eddie Fleming opting to recommend ex-Mayo, Clare and Fermanagh manager John Maughan for the job.

The list of questions (see below) were published in this week's Tullamore Tribune and highlight the lengths candidates had to go to before being considered for the Faithful County post.
