Offaly football manager Stephen Wallace may miss his side's first two games in this summer's championship.

Several reports this morning are suggesting that Wallace could be absent for his side's Leinster SFC opener against Wicklow next month if a recently proposed ban by Kerry CCCC is upheld.

Wallace's suspension was one of several handed down last week following incidents which took place in the late stages of the intermediate football championship clash between John Mitchels and Ardfert in Tralee on March 31st.

The Faithful County boss picked up an eight-week suspension for his alleged role in the incident at Austin Stack Park and is understood to have sought a hearing on the decision.

Should his suspension be upheld than he would miss his side's date with Wicklow on May 13th along with a possible meeting with Dublin two weeks' later.
