Table Quiz.

The fourth Table Quiz of the season was a great success in Stewarts on Friday night. Many thanks to Claire and Conor Connelly who supplied and asked the questions. Thanks also to Jimmy Stewart and staff for their hospitality and to all who supported the quiz. All participants are entered in the GAA National Club Draw2018.

GAA National Club Draw 2018 tickets are on sale from Committee members and from players. There are wonderful prizes on offer including a Renault Dynamique, All Ireland Final packages including match tickets and overnight accommodation in The Croke Park Hotel with dinner for two and numerous Shopping Vouchers. The closing date for buying tickets is fast approaching.

AGM.

The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held in the Clubroom on Friday next the 19th January at 8pm. All members are requested to attend. New members are especially welcome and all offers of help will be gratefully accepted.

Save the Date.

Friday 19th October is the date for the Club's Dinner Dance in the Bridge House. The members of the 1968 Senior Football Championship winning team will be Guests of Honour.

Eddie Dunne.

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of former Chairman of Ballinagar GAA Club and well known referee Eddie Dunne.

History.

Ballycumber GAA History Group are collecting information on the many men from this area who fought in World War 1. The Group would appreciate any information that would help them produce a fitting memorial.

Lotto.

The lotto numbers drawn this week were 7,12,13.31. No jackpot winner, one match three winner. Next week's draw will be held in Flynn's of Grogan on Monday night for a jackpot of 5600 euros.
