A charge of €20 will allow you to become a social member of St Brigids club, which will give you unlimited access to the new all weather walking /running track.

Get well wishes for speedy recovery are sent to all who are sick in Hospital or at home at present, Especially, Mattie Lynch, and Michael Óg Sheehy. Please keep an eye on the sick and elderly in our area at this time, they will appreciate a helping hand.

Schools Final. Congratulations

St Brigids School have had great excitement over the last couple of weeks with the parish team win and no less than 10 of our young lads on the squad, then just last week the St Brigids School won Cumann Na Bunscol, Co Final which was held in O'Connor Park Tullamore , this was followed by the Girls Parish team final who went on to win the first ever Cumann Na Bunscol Ladies final with 7girls representing the St Brigids side of the Parish, then the Dowling Cup came to the school among great excitement of all the children not often 4 cups visit a school . We want to congratulate one and all who were involved and say very well done , we are so proud of you all.

Also Congrats to our St Brigids Sr B team who have reached Div 2 final. Date and venue to be confirmed.

Congratulations: to our own local lad Ken Casey on winning another Senior Co Final with St Lomans of Westmeath , and we wish him and his team all the best on the Leinster trail.

Commiserations to the Rhode team on narrowly losing out to Portlaoise in the Leinster Senior championship game last week.

Welcome: We want to send out a big welcome to 3 new arrivals to Croghan these past weeks.

Warmest welcome baby Rian Hannon to proud new parents Edel and Ger Hannon, Now your world is about to change. A new baby will make your love stronger, home happier, days shorter, nights longer and bank account emptier. Congratulations and Best wishes for the future.
