Gerry's Prepared Veg U12 Div 2 Cup Final -The U12s  play Truagh in the final in Castleblayney on this coming Saturday at 11am.  They attempt to capture an underage Division 2 trophy since the U16s in 1992.  The team have performed very well all season but will face a real stiff examination from a very strong Truagh side on Saturday. Best of luck to the team and management. We would ask all club members , players and supporters to come out and cheer on the team. Admission on the day is 5 euro.

Eurotech Junior Football League - the senior team take on Éire Óg this Saturday 23rd September  at  5.30pm in Railway Park, Smithboro.

U10 - The 10's travelled to Cremartin on Saturday last to take part in a 4 team tournament. In the semi final they were up against near neighbours Aughnamullen and after a keenly contested game  won by seven points. In the final Cremartin  were the opposition and another close tough game was played out. A goal by Martin Quinn near the end proved to be the winning score. There was great excitement afterwards as captain Martin Quinn lifted the cup and the team all got medals. Well done to the panel of players and team management of Brendan, Cormac and Donal. Thanks to the Cremartin club for running the event and a good mornings football.

U10 - the club' own annual Dan Markey tournament will take place on Saturday 30th September commencing at 10.30 where eight teams will take part. Help will be needed on the day around the pitches and in the kitchen. Any food like buns, cakes , scones, apple tarts would be greatly appreciated on the day.

Stewards - Thanks to all the people who helped out last Saturday for the three finals. It was a long day and despite the inclement weather the pitch held up well and the day ran smoothly. Well done to the victorious teams on the day
