A big weekend with the finals of the Gerry Reilly U-16 FT taking place in Millbrook, Oldcastle.
All teams are out to do their very best as they prepare for the new All Ireland U-17 Football Championship next year that replaces the Minor Football Championship.
2 Finals on Saturday with the Plate Final (2nd placed teams) and the Shield Final (3rd placed teams). Both should be very good games and not to be missed.
The Cup Final (1st placed teams) takes place on Sunday evening and this promises to be a mouth warming encounter. Both are unbeaten teams have been very impressive in the 'round robin' series of games.
Monaghan will be all out to lift the Gerry Reilly Cup for the first time. Meath, too, will be very determined to be victorious and bridge a 10 year gap since they last won the Cup. What a game is in prospect!
