Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2 A - Last Sunday the 21st of May the Bs made the short journey to Doohamlet to take on the locals.  The team were down to the bare bones with just 15 togged out  and with Kevin Quinn making his comeback after a few years absence.  Doohamlet started brightly scoring a goal and a point before Drumhowan opened their scoring with a Michael Atkinson point. Drumhowan then kicked 3 unanswered points to draw level  but then Doohamlet  pushed ahead once again and at half time led by 1-5 to 0-5. A free by Ciaran Duffy and a point by half back Mikey Daly put the minimum in it  but Doohamlet came back again and still led by a goal after 10 minutes. in the following 10 minutes the Geraldines kicked five unanswered point to go 2 ahead but Doohamlet kicked the next 3  to go ahead by 1 with five minutes left. Both teams had their chances  but then in injury time a Mark Mc Cabe free dropped short but Kevin Quinn managed to deflect the ball over the bar to secure a draw for the amber  and blue. That left the full time score Drumhowan 0-13 Doohamlet 1-10.

Community Games - The Tullycorbet parish team had two matches last week going under to Monaghan Harps and having a good win over Tyholland. This now completes the fixtures so well done to the team and thanks to mentors Brendan Treanor, Peter Ward and Terry Duffy for all their work.

No doubt the host families and club members in general will extend a cead mile failte to our visitors.

U6 - Training every Monday at 7pm - New players very welcome. We need some more parents to help out at this age. Can you give one or two nights a month to stay on and help the coaches ? It might also might suit any young person who wants bit of coaching experience over the Summer and that would be good for your CV.

Good Luck - to Mr Centenary  Anthony Mulligan on Friday night in Latton - all support welcome as Latton commence their weekend  of centenary celebrations.
