Doohamlet club notes

Reserves:  Our Reserve team travelled to Threemilehouse on Saturday evening last and fought hard to earn a share of the spoils, Seans 0-12  Doohamlet 1-09.  Shane McManus led the Doohamlet attack and scored the crucial scores in the closing stages. Others to impress were MJ oConnor in goal Damian Ward Aidan Marray Greg Duffy and Michael Marray

Seniors:  Our Senior team continue their preparations for the new season ahead  with a number of challenge games recently and players and management are very happy with pre-season training.  Our first Senior outing is on Saturday week next 8th April with a home game against Corduff.

Minors:  Our Minor team get their season underway on Tuesday 4th April when we play Clontibret at home.  Throw in 6.30pm.  We wish Management and players well.

U21's:  A disappointing end to our County U21 ambitions when they fell to Derry in the Championship recently.  Well done to Jamie and Damian on their efforts.

Hard Luck:  To Our Ladys Secondary School in the final of the McLarnon Cup on St Patricks day when they lost narrowly to St. Ciarans, Ballygawley.  Well done to all for making this prestigious final and especially our own lads Hugh, Cormac, Eoin, Sean and Dermot.

Congratulations:  To Colin Walshe and Monaghan Senior team and Management on their excellent Division 1 league campaign and we wish them well when they face the Dubs this weekend with a league final place the prize for the winners.

Celebrations: Big News last weekend when Darren Connolly and Vivienne Tavey announced their engagement. Congrats to you both. That's you settled Ducksy.
