Club Lotto:

Last Sunday night, our Club Lotto draw was held in M.C.'s Bar, Shercock. There was no winner of the Jackpot of €8,200. Our five €20 Lucky Dip winners were: Gerard Maddigan, Laura Marron, Martin Mills, Joe McCabe and Michael Murray.

Next Sunday night's draw will take place in Deery's Bar, Carrickmacross, and the Jackpot will be €8,300.

Inter-County Teams:

Monaghan's footballers resume their Allianz National Football League Division 1 campaign this Sunday with Round 3 away to Kerry in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney. Throw-in is at 2:00pm, with deferred coverage of the game being shown on TG4, after the Donegal-Dublin game.
Monaghan's hurlers were in action last Sunday afternoon in Round 2 of the Allianz National Hurling League, and came away with a one-point win beating Donegal in Castleblayney. This Sunday, they make the short journey to Darver in Louth to face the hosts, with throw-in at 2:00pm.

Monaghan's Under 21's preparations for the Ulster Championship continued last Sunday when they claimed the Shamrock Cup with a 2-15 to 2-09 win over Derry in the Final, played in Cremartin. Our own Fergal Hanratty played a part in the win, chipping in with a point from centre-half-forward. Monaghan begin their defence of the Ulster Championship title against Antrim in the preliminary round on March 8th.

Trench Cup:

Congratulations to Padraic Keenan and all the Dundalk Institute of Technology Senior Football side who captured the Independent.ie Higher Education Trench Cup following a 3-10 to 1-14 win over Waterford Institute of Technology at the Connacht GAA Centre in Claremorris, Co. Mayo.

Handball

GAA League:

The GAA League continued last Wednesday night with a 6-2 win away to Carrick "B". George McKitterick, Micheal Hanratty, Peter Brennan and Gareth King were the team on the night.
Last night (Wednesday) the team faced Carrick "A". See Social Media for results. Next week is the last round of the League away to Monaghan with a 7:30pm start.

Corduff Singles League:

This week is the last round of the Corduff Singles Spring League. There will be one week to play any unplayed games. Keep an eye on the booking system on FastCourts.com for any available slots. Text all results to Aidan on (087) 997 2389.
