Emyvale Club Notes

December 07, 2016

The AGM of Emyvale GAA Club was held last week & there was a good turnout of members. Outgoing Secretary, Roisin O'Brien gave a very detailed & comprehensive monthly account of the year past with the highs & lows. Roisin was commended on her report & for her work throughout the year. Outgoing Treasurer, Seamus O'Neill presented a balance sheet which showed the club still in the black. Reports were put forward from Seniors, Minors, Juveniles, Handball, Scor, Ladies, Emylott, Bingo, Field & Development, Coaching, Child Protection/Wellbeing & Catering. Outgoing Chairperson Eamon Mc Kernan addressed the meeting & thanked all those who work tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the club. So many people give of their time & all these were acknowledged for their contributions to the club. Although there were no county titles to show for the adult teams, the Intermediate team retained their intermediate status. The minors were congratulated on winning the Division 2 Shield Cup & the U14 teams on their successes. The U16 team were congratulated on reaching the Championship Final.
