Corduff Club Notes

Intermediate Team:

The Intermediate Team are at home to Currin in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League this Sunday afternoon in Corduff for a 12:30pm throw-in.

 

Minor Team:

The Minor side are training in preparation for the Maguire Transport Minor Football Championship Division 1 Final against Aughnamullen which will be held in St. Mary's Park, Castleblayney on Sunday 2nd October at 2:00pm, as the curtain-raiser to the Senior Football Championship Final between Clontibret and Scotstown.

 

Big Breakfast:

This Sunday morning, Michael Hand will host a "Big Breakfast" in the Corduff/Raferagh Community Centre in aid of the club's Jailbreak Fundraising Challenge. Food will be served from 9:30am to 1:30pm.

There will be a Monster Draw on the day with some great prizes on offer. Please come along and support the event.

 

Committee Meeting:

The next Committee Meeting will be held in the clubrooms on Tuesday 27th September at 9:00pm. All committee members please attend.

 

LADIES

Colour Run:

As part of Corduff Gaels' Jail Break Fundraiser, The Corduff Ladies would like to invite you to join us for our COLOUR RUN on Sunday 9th October and bail us out of jail!

Registration begins at the Corduff / Raferagh Community Centre from 12 noon and the run begins @ 1pm.

Registration is as follows: €10 per adult, €5 per child and a family rate of €25.

Wear a white t-shirt and goggles/glasses are also recommended. This event promises to be fun for all ages so keep that date free and hope to see you there!

 

Seniors:

The Senior Ladies returned to winning ways in the league last week by defeating Inniskeen. Corduff dominated play from the throw-in and eased to victory by the final whistle.

 

All-Ireland Sevens:

We wish our Senior Ladies and management good luck on Saturday when they take part in the All-Ireland sevens which are held every year on the day before the ladies All-Ireland Finals.
