Bereavement: Inis Caoin Grattans would like to extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to Monika Mullholland her sons Pauric & Douglas and her daughter Aisling on the death of her husband and their father Paddy Mullholland, Gorteen, Inniskeen former Grattan & Monaghan player and former club Cathaoirleach. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhílis.
Results: McElvaney's Waste & Recycling IFC: Inis Caoin Grattans 2.14 Donaghmoyne 3.10 A never say die performance by the lads last Saturday evening when they came back from the dead to come out by one point now it's on to the next round. Onwards and upwards.
Tenders: Required from local plastering contractors to plaster the rear of the Paddy O'Rourke Stand. Vandalism: It gives me no great pleasure particularly when you witness all the joy and fun on a Saturday morning when Páirc Grattan is buzzing with over one hundred young boys and girls learning and taking part in our national games to report that there have been some acts of vandalism carried out at Páirc Grattan recently and one very dangerous one when the Gas-line was tampered with. We would ask everyone who uses Páirc Grattan to keep an eye out for anyone or anything suspicious and to contact any member of the committee immediately with your concerns. Let's be security conscious.
Fixtures: Silver Hills Food SHL Final: We take on Castleblayney HC this evening Thursday 25th August at 7pm in Clontibret in the league final the lads would appreciate tour support. Monaghan Electrical IFC: Inis Caoin Grattans v Currin in this coming Sunday in Scotshouse at 12.30. Minor football Shield Final Date, opponent's, venue and time TBC.
Lotto: There was no winner of our Pick Four Lotto jackpot of €5,100 last Monday night 22th August 2016.  The Numbers Drawn were: 3: 16: 25:27. Grattan's Óige by Mickey Kindlon: Juniors, U8s & U10s: Training as usual Saturday 11-12. U10s:
They play the third round in the internal league competition this Saturday 27th at the end of training U12: We play against Drumhowan in the semi final this Tuesday evening the 23rd August at 7:00 in Pairc Grattan. Please come along and support our young players  Training Tuesday evening 7:45-8:45. U14: Taining as usual Monday and Wednesday evenings. U16: We play against Carrickmacross in the shield final this Thursday evening 25th August at 7:00. Venue to be confirmed.
