Clontibret club notes

May 24, 2016

Credit Unions SFL

It's back to the league this week end with a Star game, without county players, against Truagh on Sunday at 2pm in O'Neill Park followed by a visit to Blayney on June 10th.

Minors

Corduff 2-16 Clontibret 0-12 . Defeat in the last game of the league leaves us operating in the shield section of the competition when the action resumes after the exam period. Best wishes to all who must now devote all their energies in that direction.

Reserves

O'Duffy Cup;  Clontibret 2-13, Truagh 5-5. Goals win matches -and also lose them. The concession of four first half goals followed by a second half penalty was too much of a hurdle to overcome in Truagh last Wednesday evening, despite a spirited second half revival which brought it back to a point. We visit Harps on Wednesday night in the league

Under 16

Lost heavily to Seans last week and have Cremartin as visitors this Thursday evening at 7.30 pm.

Under 14

Clontibret 3-18 Clones 3-5 Good win for the boys on Monday night at home.

Next up is Championship with Drumhowan on Tue next followed by a league match with same opposition the following Saturday 4th June

Under 12

Both squads got off to winning ways against Killanny last week and have a busy week this week. Div 1 team visits Blayney on Wed with Div 6 in Eire Og while on Saturday we entertain both Carrickmacross and Currin starting at 12noon.
