Doohamlet club notes

May 04, 2016

Reserves: Doohamlet Reserves played Blackhill in the Crawley Cup quarter final on Saturday last in O'Neill Park and short a few experienced players went down 0-12 to 0-08. In a game where both defences were on top scores were at a premium and both sides missed a lot of chances. Gabie Casey, Ryan Ingram, Shane Connolly and Damian Ward worked hard in defence. Emmett McManus and Conor Marray never gave up in midfield with Michael Marray, Mark Murphy and Ollie Hughes most impressive in the forward line.

Seniors: Our Seniors take centre stage this weekend with a home game against Blayney on Sunday next. Please note early throwin time of 1pm.

Car Wash: Well done to all concerned who organised the Fundraising Carwash last Saturday. It was a huge success and many thanks to our Minor players who washed and cleaned vehicles all day. Also Thanks to everyone who attended and gave generous donations. Much appreciated.

Blotto: No Jackpot winner, numbers drawn 2, 1, 7, 6, 4, 5, 3. Lucky dip winners Tom MacMahon, Brentwood Essex; John Joe Gorman, Corrigans; Leo Duffy c/o The Spinner; Martin Walshe, Dernaglug; A Stephens, Ilford, Essex. Next weeks Jackpot €2,000.
