Monaghan manager Malachy O'Rourke is relishing bringing his charges to Croke Park to face Dublin in the next round of the National League.

The Ulster side travel to Croker on February 27th, a place they have become well used to in recent years, but they will face a tough task against the Dubs.

Nonetheless, O'Rourke wouldn't trade places with any team in a lower division and he stressed to the Northern Standard that to be the best, you have to play the best.

"We have three weeks now to prepare for the trip to Croke Park which we know will be another tough outing because Dublin are obviously going very well and they are very strong at the minute and it's in their own backyard," said O'Rourke.

"But look, that's what you want, that is what you're in the first division for, to measure yourself against these teams, measure yourself against the best, so we have to use this three weeks wisely now, because there is plenty of improvement we need to do."
