Pancake Tuesday / Máirt na hInide: That time of year is upon us again and I'm delighted to say that pancakes will be available in the social club all day on the 9th of February. This is a charity event and this year's proceeds will be shared between Castleblayney Cancer and Genomic Sequencing Equipment Mater Hospital. Please try your best to get out and support this event and there will certainly be no excuse for not making it as the hard working ladies will be flipping pancakes from 9am until 9pm. A special guest appearance will be made by Margo O'Donnell.

Juveniles: The Blackhill juvenile team will be resuming training this month and are also planning a day trip. All newcomers are most welcome. Contact Matthew 0870666914 for any further info.

Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Katy Rooney and Emmet Fealy who celebrated their engagement in the club recently. Go n-éiri an bóthar libh.

Sympathy: The club would like to extend its sympathy to Michael and Geraldine Finnegan and extended family on the death of Michael's mother Etta Finnegan. May she rest in peace.
