Drumhowan club notes

February 02, 2016

Scór na nÓg All Ireland Final  - last Saturday the 30th of January our 2 groups took part in the All-Ireland Final in the INEC in Killarney. In the Quiz the team performed well but there was an extremely high level of answering  with Spa from Kerry winning with 78 out of 80. 2nd and 3rd place were only 1 and 2 points behind respectively. Well done to the team of Colm Mc Mahon, Finbarr, Cáit and Aodhán Brennan. Reaching 4 All Ireland Finals in 5 years is a great achievement.  The Instrumental Group as normal performed to an extremely high standard but narrowly missed out. In a change to normal practice in Scór the winners from Waterford were chosen by just one judge. Once again 4 All Ireland Finals in as many years, winning two titles along the way a brilliant achievement. Thanks to Colm Mc Mahon, Conor Quinn, Finbarr Brennan, Daniel Tomany and Cáit Brennan for putting Drumhowan on the map.
