Parish League: The parish league took place last Saturday 3rd Oct. Well done to all the under 6, 8, 10, 12 boys and girls who took part and to the team managers and parents for their support. Congratulations to all who received their medals from county star Fintan Kelly. A great day was had by all followed by the kids disco.

Seniors: Our seniors played Killeevan last Sunday morning in Railway Park. The game was competitive and ended on a score line of Eire Og 3-12 to Killeevan 3-9.

Badminton: Are you interested in playing badminton? Last year a club was set up with some players taking part in county competitions. Our novice team were victorious in the mixed competition. Congratulations to Clodagh Leonard, Chloe McBride, Clodagh Kerr, James Morrow, Stephen Kerr, Robert Haynes and Donal Leonard. It is hoped to start up again as the winter approached. Whether you have played before or want to give it a go for the first time, everyone is welcome. There will be a meeting next Monday 12 October in Smithboro Hall at 8 pm for all those interested.
