Handball: Congratulations to Darren Doherty on winning a second Silver Medal in the World Handball Championships in the 19 &  Under 40 x 20 Singles Competition. In the first round he defeated a player from the USA & in the quarter-final comfortably beat a player from Cashel, Co. Tipperary. In the semi-final he had a tough match against another American which went to a tie-breaker & Darren won that to qualify for the final to meet Johnny Woods from Omagh, Co. Tyrone who had beaten him in the One Wall Competition the previous week. Johnny won the first game & Darren responded by winning the second 21 - 0 to force the match to a tie-breaker but Johnny found his form again & won 11 - 5. This was a great achievement for Darren winning two Silver Medals so well done to him. Peter Larkin also had a good tournament reaching the semi-final of the Emerald Masters Doubles Competition with Martin Mc Entee & the quarter-final of the Super Masters Singles Competition so a great performance from Peter.

Juveniles: The Tully GAA Summer Camp finished up last Friday and was well attended with 85 children participating, we hope all the children are had an enjoyable week. A big thank you to all the organizers, coaches, helpers and Aine Sheehan for all their work in making the camp a huge success.

U-8 Go Games Blitz is Saturday 29th August in Clones starting at 10am.

U-10 had a Go Games Blitz last Saturday in Cloghan, we had two teams participating and well done to everyone who attended.

U-12 Division 5 team played Carrickmacross in Shield Final on Tuesday18th August unfortunately we did come away with any silverware, congratulation to Carrickmacross on their win. Well done to the players, managers, coaches, mentors and parents for their commitment throughout the year.

U-14 played against Donaghmoyne on Tuesday night, no result available when these notes were issued. Training every Monday & Wednesday in Tully from 7 - 8pm.

U-16 all roads lead to Oram tonight where we play Magheracloone in the Division 2 Championship Final with a throw in time of 7.00pm, please come along and show your support. Best of luck to the players, managers, coaches & mentors and hopefully they will come away with the silverware.
